Creamy Chicken and Noodle Casserole


  • 3 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Bag of Egg Noodles
  • Stove Top Stuffing Savory Herbs
  • 2 cans of mixed veggies, drained (mixed and medley)
  • 1/2 can of value size Heinz chicken gravy
  • 1 family can of cream of chicken soup
  • Salt, butter, garlic seasoning, and water
  • Cheddar cheese (for topping)


  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while preparing the ingredients.
  2. Boil and Shred Chicken:
    • Boil the chicken breasts in a pot with water, adding butter, salt, and garlic seasoning for flavor.
    • Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove it from the water, shred it, and place it in a baking pan with about half a cup of the water it was boiled in.
  3. Boil Egg Noodles:
    • In the remaining water from boiling the chicken, cook the egg noodles for 8-10 minutes, or until they are almost done. Drain the noodles.
  4. Prepare Casserole Mixture:
    • In the same baking pan with the shredded chicken, add the drained mixed veggies, cooked egg noodles, Heinz chicken gravy, and cream of chicken soup.
    • Season with salt and garlic seasoning to taste.
    • Mix all the ingredients in the pan until well combined.
  5. Prepare Stuffing:
    • Prepare the Stove Top Stuffing according to the instructions on the back of the box.
  6. Assemble and Top:
    • Spread the prepared stuffing on top of the mixture in the baking pan.
    • Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the stuffing layer.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 35 minutes or until the stuffing is a bit crispy, and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving.

    • This recipe feeds a family of 4 with enough leftovers for the next day.
