Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

Ingredients:
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced against the grain
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Add steak, toss to coat, and set aside to marinate.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak and cook until browned, then remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper. Cook until slightly softened.
- Add garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds.
- Return steak to the skillet, then pour in beef broth, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and serve over cooked rice.
